BEIJING--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The 16th China International Petroleum & Petrochemical Technology and Equipment Exhibition (cippe 2016) will be held on March 29-31, 2016 at New China International Exhibition Center. With an exhibition space of over 100,000m2, cippe is expected to attract more than 2,000 exhibitors from 65 countries and regions, 46 Fortune 500 companies, 18 international delegations and 80,000 professional visitors, making it the largest petroleum exhibition in the world.

The oil prices have fallen to a seven-year low, and if this trend continues, most oil companies will have to control their purchase costs. Meanwhile, China’s three state-owned oil giants have also shrunk their investment in the upstream sectors in the capital market. At this exhibition, world-renowned oil companies, including the top 10 oil giants, such as CNPC, Sinopec, CNOOC, Schlumberger, ExxonMobil, Rosneft, Gazprom, BP, TOTAL, Saudi Aramco, Qatar Petroleum, Statoil, Shell and Petrobras, all look to explore new economic growth points. For instance, ExxonMobil will launch its new Asian market strategy and showcase new products and a comprehensive lubrication solution for industrial machinery; CNPC, with an exhibition area of 6000m2, will take full advantage of its cluster advantage to fully explore the Asian market. 

Besides, non-state-owned Chinese oil equipment manufacturers like KERUI Group, JIERUI Group, GN Solids Control Enterprise, RG PETRO-MACHINERY Group, JUNMA Group and JERRYWON will also present their innovative products at the exhibition. Their strategies to accelerate industry upgrade include diversification of business to cover both equipment manufacturing and engineering services, shift to gas and oil exploration, and development in environmental areas.
